Connect Klaviyo

EmailShift reads Klaviyo's delivery events (received, bounced, marked as spam, unsubscribed and so on) every few minutes.

Steps

  1. In Klaviyo, create a private API key with the read-only permissions listed on the EmailShift connection form.
  2. In EmailShift, go to Connections → New connection → Klaviyo and paste the key.

Good to know

  • Klaviyo does not report "sent" separately, so EmailShift uses delivered plus bounced messages as the base for rates.
  • Hard and soft bounces are told apart using Klaviyo's bounce type.
  • A key with write permissions is not needed and should not be used.
